In the Metaverse you create a digital version of yourself or how you want to be portrayed, you can be anyone or anything you want. Do we continue to take the leap of faith we are currently making by ‘trusting’ people are who they say they are? Or do we need a higher level of authenticity in the Metaverse?

This does not mean you have to ‘reveal’ your identity as such, but one must have their digital identity backed by their physical one, this could be via crypto and blockchain, Biometric ID cards or Facial recognition systems.

The Metaverse will offer a more realistic experience therefore should there be an increased level of identification as well.
